Timo has more than a decade of experience in cold climate wind, mostly at VTT. During his time at VTT Timo has been working on numerous R&D projects related especially to wind power technology development. These projects have covered developing signal processing tools for wind turbine performance assessment and automatic ice detection, etc. He has been the Operating Agent of the IEA Wind research task on cold climate wind since 2017. He has a degree in electrical engineering.
