Short biography: Chris Petrich leads the cold climate technology group at SINTEF Narvik and contributes two decades of work on issues related to ice. He had the pleasure of working on both floating ice and winter concreting at locations from Antarctica, Alaska, and the Barents Sea to coastal and inland Norway. His focus is on remote data acquisition, field tests, and modeling. When he is not concerned about cold climate issues, Chris can be found looking for bunkers somewhere in the forests around Narvik.
